Some info I want to collect, more in the article

'Ello y'all. I had a dream a while back about playing Sonic 2 but at one point I repeatedly uncurled and curled into a ball while in the air.

Inspired by that dream, I set out to create a Sonic fangame that completely ditches the idea of "one button and a d-pad only" and uses a modern controller to its advantage for lots of different moves. Some moves would be existing, such as the boost from Rush or the drop-dash from Mania, while some would be completely unique like a move that creates a temporary floor beneath your feet, sort of like an insta-shield for bottomless pits. I imagine it like the magnet beam from Mega Man but better suited toward Sonic's momentum.

These moves would be unlocked as you progress through the story, and you could revisit past levels to use moves not available to you previously to find hidden paths leading to special stages, etc.

The one issue is that I don't know how to make games, so I'm here to get a good idea about engines, sprite makers, and places to learn.

Thank you very much for humoring my absurd ramblings, respond if you like, and have a great day! :)

Did you know that today is #InternationalJazzDay? 🎷😎

No? 😯 Well, we couldn't pass up this date!

And what better to celebrate this day than #Pecaminosa #OST? 🎷

Let us know what you think about it and have a great weekend!

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

"Our work is never over" they said.

What you all think

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Strange Umbrella

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.
