Soo, as i let my ADHD brain go when studying for a hydrosphere unit, i thought about when i said i was going to make a species, so i did extensive research. when i make OC's, i don't like taking other people's ideas, so this is as original as possible. i was thinking, what is already made? turns out, its REAL intresting. Vampire Squids, Cuttlefish, Nautilus, hell, even DOLPHINS (Echolings). a tad more research lead me to find out: octopi and squids are all in one family: Cephalopod, so i continued searching, and everything in the cephalopod family was already made. But then i remembered Octo's post about The Floolings, which is Jellyfish, i think. so that got me thinking: What Family is the jellyfish in? that family, is Phylum Cnidaria (Whatever that is). so i looked more into that family, and i found, the MOST intresting creature i know underwater: staurozoa and hydrozoa. they glow like the stars (i like space) and ive always wanted a species with glowing ink, so if you smash them together, you get what i name these: Hydrostarlings.
