I'm so sorry that some of you actually believed I released the mod yesterday when we haven't even released the demo yet.

In this devlog, I'll share some trivia about the game.

To start off, this mod was created with the Undertale & Deltarune Engine: Nyx Version, which is an engine created by @get_nyxxed11 (our co-director).

The development itself took me a few hours until the early morning. Most of it was just trying to delete unnecessary files from the project without it crashing (in the final build, it crashes when trying to open the menu, but I was too tired to fix it).

I uploaded the background song to Game Jolt (I don't know why), but I made it in 10 minutes. The chords playing are simply MIDI text spelling out "APRIL FOOLS" in C major.

The Harluf that appears on the wall at the end had dialogue, but because I started deleting things at random, trying to talk to him caused the game to crash, so I was forced to draw a sprite on the wall like graffiti. If you want, you can investigate the game files with the Undertale Mod Tool to look at the dialogue.

In case no one has noticed yet, the long path represents the entire gameplay of Undertale (moving to the right), and since Hotland and the Core haven't been started yet, I didn't include them. The tiles in the first room (the ones on the devlog cover) are corrupted because I replaced the tileset of a room that came with the engine itself. In the game files, the tilesets are censored. Why? So nothing extra gets leaked; only the tiles used in that weird build are available.

If you press F3, you can go to the room selector. There aren't many (there are 3). I'll let you explore them on your own. I don't know what to do with the build, honestly. I'll leave a poll for you on whether to delete it or leave it on the Game Jolt page.

In a few hours, I'll upload the devlog about all the work we did in March.

Siento mucho que algunos ayer se creyeran que de verdad saqué el mod cuando ni siquiera sacamos la demo.

En este "devlog" contaré algunas curiosidades sobre el juego.

Para empezar, este mod fué creado con Undertale & Deltarune Engine: Nyx Version el cual es un motor creado por @get_nyxxed11 (nustro subdirector).

El desarrollo en sí me llevó unas horas hasta la madrugada. La mayor parte de este fue tratar de borrar archivos innecesarios del proyecto sin que este crasheara (en la build final crashea al tratar de abrir el menú, pero estaba demasiado cansado como para arreglarlo).

La canción que suena de fondo la he subido a Game Jolt (no sé por qué), pero la hice en 10 minutos. Los acordes que suenan son simplemente un texto en MIDI que pone "APRIL FOOLS" en do mayor.

Si queréis el .flp o algo decidlo por los comentarios o algo, no sé.

El Harluf que aparece en la pared del final tenía un diálogo que, por culpa de empezar a borrar cosas al azar, provocaba que al intentar hablarle crasheara el juego, por lo que me vi forzado a tener que dibujar un sprite en la pared a modo de grafiti. Si queréis, podéis investigar los archivos del juego con Undertale Mod Tool para mirar los diálogos.

Por si nadie se ha enterado todavía, el camino largo representa el gameplay entero de Undertale (moverse hacia la derecha), y como Hotland y el Core todavía no están empezados, pues no lo metí. Los tiles de la primera room (los de la portada del devlog) están corrompidos porque reemplacé el tileset de una room con la que venía el propio engine. En los archivos del juego los tilesets están censurados, ¿por qué? Para que no se filtre nada de más; solo están disponibles los tiles que se usan dentro de esa build rara.

Si pulsas F3 podrás ir al selector de habitaciones, las cuales no son muchas (son 3). Os dejo que las exploréis por vuestra cuenta. No sé qué hacer con la build, la verdad. Os dejaré una encuesta sobre si borrarla o dejarla en la página de Game Jolt.

En unas horas subiré el devlog sobre todo el trabajo que hicimos en marzo.
