Throwback all the way back to 1883. Charles Dickens made a book. The Christmas Carol. It had a bunch of versions. Movies, books, even Netflix. But with all them have a basic summary. The story starts on Christmas Eve with a rude elderly man named Ebenezer Scrooge. He is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley, the spirits of Christmas past, present, and future. Through this he turns into a gently and kind man.
