Swarming: Eradication Updated!

This is just going to be a quick update outlining a few recent changes to the game which improve the game.

Changes:

  • Reduced planet capture time significantly.

The capture time was a bit too long, and it made the early-game a bit slower than I’d like. The reduced capture time speeds up the early-game considerably.

  • Made the game run in fullscreen mode.

  • Added an outline to neutral planets.

  • Eliminated the ugly jagged edges on all objects.

The game now looks a lot better.

  • Slightly altered the AI’s planet selection weights to make closer planets a little higher priority.

The AI is now more likely to choose a close planet over one that is easier to capture but halfway accross the map.

  • Added planet target indicator for assigning units.

The indicator shows you which planet you are going to send your selected units to.

That’s pretty much it for this release. I hope you guys enjoy it.
