Sword Art Online ♦ Oblivion Wings


Hello everyone!

The download for the previous version of this game, v0.1 (XMas Edition!) has been removed and a new version will be up soon! Be reminded that the OLD PATCH FILES that you have downloaded previously will not be needed anymore. Remove them from your patches folder or it might cause a little problems to your game.
This post from me is to update all of you on what to expect on the next version of the game.

Changelog (v0.11):

[Update]

  • Name of the game has been changed from «Sword Art Online - New Aincrad» to «Sword Art Online ♦ Oblivion Wings» as there was a change in the storyline after some discussion

  • Monsters are slightly re-balanced (Most of the monsters are nerfed in terms of stats, but at the same time they grant lesser EXP and Col too)

  • Quests Rewards have also been re-balanced

  • Kirito’s and Asuna’s Ultimates can only be learned at level 25 (Learnt at level 20 previously) with a slight re-balancing to the skills itself

  • Prevention of Dashing in most dungeons & labyrinths

  • New areas to explore!

    «White -> Common»

[Unconfirmed Updates]

  • Removal of Diagonal Movement

  • Temporarily no more events with Events Planner Noire. There will be new events once there are any special occasions nearing (e.g. Valentine’s Day)

****[Bug Fixes]

  • Fixed game crashing due to missing audio for the Beginner’s Combat Tutorial

Things to note for v0.11:

  • Players are required to download the RTP Package for RPG Maker VX Ace before you will be able to play the game! Get it here: http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/download/additional/run-time-packages

  • Players are NOT REQUIRED to start a new game for this version. Copy and paste over your old data (e.g. Save01) into the folder where the Game.exe is located

  • Remove all Patch files from previous versions (If any) or you might experience some bugs in your game!

  • Report anymore new bugs if you find any! I will only be able to fix them on the weekends from next week onwards, so sorry about that!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
