Top left - Demon!Lake likes carrying Lucas and Ashley like a mother cat carries her kittens, this obviously makes sense because in his mind Lucas and Ashley are his children. Carrying them this way also enables Lake to free up his hands when he needs to climb various surfaces, as well as reinforce the parental bond he’s formed with them.
(His behaviour is a little fucked up because he’s now a demon, not that Lucas and Ashley mind, they’re just more annoyed than reluctant. Haiden just rolls with it, he’s not sure if anything can surprise him anymore.
Top right - Demon!Lake prefers to create blanket forts to serve as a nest, a place where he can relax and guard his family (Haiden, Ashley and Lucas). While Lake is often the one getting food for them all, Haiden had to pop out momentarily for some things. When he got back he couldn’t find Lucas and Ashley so asked Lake, he quickly get’s his answer. Lake often acts really broody when he’s left alone with the children, like an angry bantam chicken.
Middle left - When Lucas first came to the Funland he was a little wary of Lake due to the bad vibes he seemed to put off (and his knowledge from our world of the original TAALFS game) but once he figured out it was the demon making those bad vibes, he relaxed.
Eventually he and Lake bonded, Lake often letting Lucas get away with things within reason and giving him little presents from time to time while Lucas sneaks Lake baked goods he and Haiden made.
Middle right - While Lucas and Ashley were able to fend Demon!Lake off the first time due to some quick thinking and Lucas’ Soul Embodiments. They’re both caught by surprise the second time and therefore cannot fight back when the newly minted demon captures them. They both think they’re going to get turned into a chalk outline so are confused when Demon!Lake gets very fussy and doting instead, like a parent.
Bottom left - Demon!Lake’s first transformation into his Upset form was in response to his goal to retrieve his children. What he didn’t expect was that Lucas would summon something that would disagree with his goals, violently. Lake would be unable to get past the Illusionary Soul Embodiment and would have to try again, this time with the element of surprise so Lucas can’t summon anything.
Demon!Lake comes away from that first encounter nursing some injures and a bruised pride/ego. He doesn’t make the same mistake the second time.
Bottom right - When Haiden first introduced Lucas to the Funland’s staff and suit actors, he was a little nervous that Lucas wouldn’t like them. He’s quickly proven wrong as Lucas endears himself to his coworkers and quickly befriends them all (Ashley already being besties with him as they met in school). Though weird things soon start happening around the Funland when Lucas arrives, strange creatures start being spotted seemingly patrolling the Funland and while they’ve never harmed anyone or appeared during work hours it does make a lot of people nervous.
So far the Illusionary Soul Embodiments haven’t found anything, but they will soon as they know that if Lucas feels threatened or uncomfortable in this place something evil must be lurking here. They will eventually find it and observe it to see if it can be gotten rid of or destroyed.
