The Alpha 0.2.0 Update for Sumo Cars 2 has officially been released, go check it out! Make sure to leave some feedback! :)

Changes in version Alpha 0.2.0 include:


GAMEPLAY CHANGES

-Added new car 'Flux'

-Added handbrake

-Added car grip and traction differences based on surface being driven on

-Fixed an issue where wheels weren't falling off when reaching low car condition on cars 'Serpent', 'Starlight', and 'Leopard'

-Fixed an issue where extreme deformation of the car body would occur on cars 'Serpent', and 'Starlight'

-Removed car collision deforming with car model

-Lowered in-game camera sensitivity

-Lowered in-game camera damping (smoothing)

USER INTERFACE CHANGES

-Added notification if passing finish line without passing all checkpoints in Race mode

-Added Restart button to pause menu

-Added current map and gamemode information to pause menu

-Added 'KM/H' and 'RPM x1000' texts to speed and RPM gauge

-Added Engine Version and Build GUID information to main menu

-AI Health bars will now disappear correctly into the fog

-Replaced UI Font

-Improved UI consistency

-Improved gauge needles

-Fixed fading issues in main menu

-Updated credits section

MAP CHANGES

-Added new map 'Umbra City'

-Added sun to Race map 'Lunaris Circuit'

-Replaced Finish line model

-Improved map geometry issues near road at certain places on Race map 'Lunaris Circuit'

-Improved lighting on Race map 'Lunaris Circuit'

-Improved camera starting location on Race map 'Lunaris Circuit'

-Improved checkpoints on Race map 'Lunaris Circuit'

VEHICLE TWEAKS

-Increased overall power of all vehicles

-Reduced 'Leopard' engine power

-Reduced 'Leopard' definitive top speed

-Reduced 'Serpent' approximate top speed

-Reduced 'Serpent' definitive top speed

-Reduced car hardness (easier to deform)

-Fixed weird particles flying around with vehicles

MISCELLANEOUS CHANGES

-Added Post-Processing to vehicle selection

-Added light to car explosion

-Fixed light flares being invisible in-game

-Implemented Occlusion Culling to improve performance

-Upgraded Unity Engine [2021.1.28f -> 2021.2.13f1]

-Optimized Race mode code

Madeline is the main protagonist of the mountain climbing platformer, Celeste. The game has been praised for its visuals, gameplay, and introspective narrative. The game's creator Maddy Thorson confirmed that Madeline is trans in 2020.

The project isn't dead! We know we sound like a broken record by now, but there's been difficulties in the real world stopping true progress.

The Alpha 0.3.3 update is here!

You can expect many improvements to visuals, expansions to the Car Upgrades System, and drastically improved overall handling, making the game much more fun.

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.
