Sup, fellow fnaf and fnaw no-lifers! Welcome to part 2 of the High Rollers review Last part, we talked about the game's standard mode, which was good, but nothing special. And now, we're reviewing t full house mode, which is basically a whole new game, and We're gonna talk about it!
______________________________________________________
you already know how these work it's menu time!
I mean... I guess it's better than the one in the standard mode. It still kinda blows.
Let's talk about the gameplay. We start the game and get ourselves a cutscene of Wario, starring at a... red and yellow candy.
And then the candy takes over his soul, I guess? And he got himself some new drip, all thanks to the candy. Sick, dude!
and just like that we start the night welcome to the new casino
Unlike the standard mode, the full house mode goes for a fnaw Origins style of gameplay, with you being able to move around the entire casino. Before we talk about Wario and the gang, let's chat about how this mode works.
We have our usual cams, which we need to charge. We also have the map, which we use to get around the place.
Now one of the most important things in this mode: the coins.
You can use these coins by going to this room and rolling for an item.
You always start the night with one coin, but you can get more by searching the casino.
Here are all the items and how they work.
now time to finally talk about the characters
on night 1 wario's active
Wario works kinda like he did in Origins. He starts in Cam 4 then goes to 5, then 6, then 2, and then 4 again, and the cycle repeats.
If you go into the rooms he's in, you instantly die. Oh, and see that safety meter? If it ends, you'll instantly die. So you better go to a room Wario isn't in and go back to the room before. The only way you can be in a room with him is to have the Geno mask. So, better get those coins, am I right?
That was night 1. Pretty strong start. Let's move onto ni.... Oh yeah, there's this Yoshi minigame.
it isn't worth doing like at all night 2 time
this nights waluigis active
His mechanic is interesting to say the least.
He shits out an old ass clock and then you gotta go to the bathroom and throw it in the trashcan.
TRULY the mechanic of all time, if I do say so myself. I really wanna know what Tagey was smoking when he thought of that. I got basically nothing else to say so night 3.
On night 3, Luigi becomes active.
(why does he look like the red eggman from the sonice.exe fnf mod)
he's the golden freddy character
What a waste of a character slot.... I mean, I guess his design's pretty cool, and he can put you off guard for like...1 second, but he barely exists at all. You can retcon him from existence, and basically nothing would change. I'm sorry, Luigi. You suck.
welp night 4 i guess.....
peach is active on this night cool...
Whenever you hear her giggle like a little nerd, check the cams till you find her and shock her to make her scream in pain.
If she's not in any of the cams, then she's in your room. Just go into another room and shock that one to get rid of her.
Night 5 time baby!
This is the night where you can get the Ztar. Now you can get 2 coins from collecting them around the map. Also, Chris Pratt's active.
He kinda acts like a music box type character.
You have to stare at him, making sure he doesn't move at all. If he does escape, the next time you'll pull up the camera, he kills you in an instant.
This is one of the rooms Wario can go to, so be careful and have a Geno mask ready
Ok, this is a good time to share my thoughts on the game so far. And it's honestly great! All the characters work really well, and the mechanics are pretty unique (except you, Luigi. fucking kys). There really aren't any major flaws.
Night 6 is just the same thing, but with faster AI. But hey! We do get some nice lore, I guess.
it's about wario letting bruno work for him blud just casually fucked over his entire life with that move
And congrats! The game's done. You can get a secret cutscene for beating Max Mode, but I'm not gonna spoil it. Let's just get to the final verdict.
Overall, this mode is shockingly really good. I had an absolute blast playing this.
Funny enough, my main problem with it is that it's too short and Luigi not existing. That does bring down a few points. But it's still hella fun. It gets a solid 8/10 from me.
Thank you all so much for reading, and I'll cya all in the next review.
