This project started as me finally trying out what Unreal Engine can do with 2D, but after seeing the nice result of Sprites in a stylized 3D world I decided to start making a side scrolling beat 'em up with this style.

Been playing around a bit with Sonic in Unreal Engine 5 and took some screenshots. Also made a video about the whole process and showing off some gameplay in semi open world maps. https://youtu.be/93GnBMPo1o4
