The idea I had for this AU is based on a simple idea with multiple questions, which are:

"What if Paltronics decided to invest in biotechnology? What if they decided to make the characters half-organic, half-mechanical? What if things would get wrong, but not too early, making it seem like everything WAS under control?"

Basically, the AU is based on the idea about biotechnological animatronics (I have no clue if even using the word "animatronics" would matter there), which would make all those characters from Percy's Playhouse more durable, more liveable, more expressive, more real, more... You probably got it Paltronics decided to invest in the technology first, especially since it could bring them more popularity, more money and, additionally, would allow them to add more stuff to the Playhouse, completely re-mading it (they did it, before they decided to reopen it, because of the fact, that they had to get it done first).

Was there any opposition against using biotechnology? Yes, there was, and the opposition was shown by Nick (the technician) and Oscar (the night guard [my OC]), officially those two would say, that they were afraid if it would work, however privately both of them had completely OPPOSITE reasons - Nick didn't exactly want to replace the traditional animatronics with the "more lively ones", as he did get close to the classical ones, with Oscar it was... He was afraid of what they could do at night, if they would get him or not.

However, despite the opposition, Paltronics did replace the old animatronics with those "lively" ones and everything seemed to go well - lots of people were going to the playhouse, wanting to meet those "lively" characters, adults were no longer afraid of leaving their kids alone with the characters, due to them no longer having visible wires, the rivals seemed to also consider using the biotechnology, due to Percy's Playhouse brand success.

The first ever created biotechnological "animatronic" - Percy Poodle is way older than the original Percy, has more personality (basically how he acted in Halloween Hijinkas, but has intelligence, is really creative and also can be serious at times [and bit sadistic]), has more talents than the original Percy, he can change expressions (which the original couldn't do), he could even interact with various stuff, such as instruments. Heck, he even became a guitarist in the main gang!

However, nothing has no flaws and the experiment did have something - one day the playhouse changed, the characters "took over" it and... Some people, who went inside the playhouse didn't get out of it. According to Paltronics' files, the playhouse became "missing playhouse" or "mystery playhouse", because of what's going on...

And also the AU is a modern AU, taking place further than in the original game, and the year is 2022 (could change it tho)
