“Carrie’s Warning”

Cosmic Haiden aids Chayanne after Luke makes his ultimatum, taking turns with Cosmic Kaleo to keep her safe from the other animatronics. They run into Cosmic Alice who is on the hunt for Chayanne’s whereabouts. Luckily Chayanne is able to hide in time, leaving Ewan to talk with Carrie and distract her from realising Chayanne is there.

Unfortunately, Carrie gives Ewan a dire warning about Luke’s status, while his temper has calmed somewhat there’s still a risk that he could become suspicious about Ewan helping Chayanne avoid him. This unsettles Ewan because he remembers what happened the last time someone defied Cosmic Lake/Luke. There’s a reason Luke is the leader, not just because the animatronic was built that way nor was it because of his natural charisma…

Once Carrie leaves Ewan reluctantly parts ways with Chayanne in order to head the others off. He gives her a jammer in return so that one of Cosmic Lake/Luke’s abilities, All Seeing Eye, cannot detect her by corrupting the security camera feeds. Chayanne is uneasy about being left alone, and she’d be proven right.

(Unlike other Au’s, the cosmic animatronics and the spirits that possess them aren’t two separate entities, they’re the same being. The animatronic is the body while the human is the mind/soul/spirit/heart. This can cause some problems as they can ignore their programming easily compared to other possessed animatronics.)
