As I'm coding True Geno and thinking about adding translation support, the more I start to realize uh, managing translations are gonna be a pain in the ass and is probably way out of scope for such an ambitious fangame like this.
The systems for translations are there, but I'm mainly worried about managing a translation team. There's things I'm worried about and things that may impede progress in the future. If I wanna make little edits to some text on a sprite, I'm gonna have to wait and send out those changes to however many translations I wanna support and the team that'll manage such. If there are grammatical and spelling errors in the English script, I, unsuspectingly, send out the script to the translation team and they don't notice it, I wait for the translations to come back to me, I now notice errors, I fix those errors, send back the script and wait for the team to translate the script again, and.... All that just sounds really exhausting. As much as I'd like True Geno to reach a wider audience, I don't think I'm currently capable of doing such efforts, so it'll sadly be canceled.
