TSFACP devlog [10.08.22]

So I am here to say that stage 6 is almost finished! :)

I am currently working on the miniboss and I have been having a lot of fun creating the sceneries for this stage, since you're inside the castle and look out towards the wilderness (see picture above.)

I actually haven't had any major difficulties with this stage, but that's because of me reusing a lot of enemies. I am gonna make some new and original ones though, don't worry. The main component of this stage has honestly just been the decor of the castle and such, which I really like. It's gonna be amazing working on the end of the game (stage 7) where you're at the top of the castle since then you can see just about anything!

Oh yeah, about stage 7. That stage is gonna be very different from all the other stages due to the fact that it's gonna be a boss rush stage. You may think: "huh? That's so lazy, you're just gonna reuse bosses?" and I hear you! Which is why that is not the case. I'm not gonna reuse any bosses, I'm basically just gonna make 4 consecutive bosses in one stage. Oddly enough I think that may take longer to go through than a normal stage since you gotta defeat all the bosses in order to progress.

In other news: this game will be released on STEAM! Yes, seriously. I finally have enough money to release the game on Steam and I feel like it's something that I really wanna do with the fact that this game is much bigger than any of my other games. Don't worry though, the game will only be released for 1 dollar. I don't exactly wanna scam anyone. :P

But yeah, that was it! Hope you're excited, because I sure as hell am! I'm nearing the end of the development of the base game here which is so weird to think about, it has been like 3 years!

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the image I posted is a bit edited, just like almost every other image of the game I have posted on here. Just so you don't go around thinking the game will actually have that fancy anaglyphic shading on release. XP

TSFACP devlog [28.10.2022]

The official cover art of the game is now finished! I hope you all liked it, it actually took a bit of time to make believe it or not. I still like how it turned out. :)

Where is TSFACP at the moment? [04.08.2023]

New Devlog! [05.01.2023]

Just got finished with the miniboss for stage 6! Not gonna reveal what this miniboss is though, you gotta see for yourself... ;)

Still working hard on the game, despite university! :)

Yep, love this...

Finally revamped the atrocious options menu that TSFACP had. Before the keybinds were locked away in another screen and you had to click the "in-game controls" text to access it, now everything is on the same screen and it's just generally way smoother!

I'm now working on a new game: a successor to Cold Massacre!

I have implemented a proper screenshot folder! It now saves the screenshots into a folder (if you choose to.) You can revert it back to saving the screenshots into your clipboard in the options menu if you want. :)

I'm about halfway through stage 6, which will be so massive that I had to have a savepoint in the middle. :P
