You get a tiny score deductible in the multiplier menu at the end of the level called "-REVIVE USED" if you die, but you keep the no damage or no restarts, and especially that juicy P-rank you fought hard for.

This is a revive cola you can buy from the terminal for 20 P and spill all over your machinery to get a 2nd life for the level you're on as long as you haven't died or restarted. however
