UPDATE


Hello everyone. It’s me, Martin. You might be wondering “Where the hell have you been?”

Well, I’ve been working. On a bunch of things: the plot of The Presence, I’ve been learning how to make music (for the soundtrack) and few other things. The reasons behind my absence are mostly personal. For the past 4 months I’ve been dealing with a lot of real life problems. That’s why I’ve been unable to properly work on the games. Also I have officialy decided that The Presence Saga is not a Five Nights at Freddy’s Fan-Game Series. To be honest I feel pretty sad about leaving FNaF, the games will always have a special place in my heart and I love every one of them.
In the summer of 2018 I announced The Five Chapter Collection. It is a collection of five games, each one of them telling a different storyline from The Presence Saga that finally lead up to the final chapter: Split Minds.
However I’ve been thinking about The Five Chapter Collection for some time now and I have realized that making five games that each have 3 acts filled with plot, gameplay, cutscenes etc. will be extremely difficult. Especially for an independent, indie game developer such as me. So I’ve decided to make a very big decision. I am unmotivated and not ready to make such a huge series. I’m sorry.

At first I just wanted to cancel every game except Split Minds. But I realized that I would disappoint you guys. Also only making one game out of a five part Saga is pointless. (Also, I’m still considering just fitting the entire lore into one game: Split Minds,instead of making 5 games).

I’m not cancelling the games. When I feel the time is right I will finish The Five Chapter Collection.

I know this may sound very strange, but I don’t want to be forced to make the games I don’t want to. (Of course I want to make every game on the collection, but not now)

So here’s the summary:
The Presence is no longer a FNaF Fan-Game Series.
For the tme being I want to focus on my personal life, music and voice acting.
Thank you everone for making the years: 2016, 2017 and 2018 absolutely amazing for me.

The Presence Saga is not cancelled, it will be complete.
In the future.
