Hello everybody!
The strawpoll results strongly favored yes, so I’ve released everything that’s been done up to this point as v0.2.31. There may be issues, and in case there are, I am going to leave v0.2.3 up to download.
The main new feature is localization support, so people who want to translate the game can now do so. If you need help, feel free to ask!
Here’s a few other changes I’ve made:
EXE should now interact with CPU characters correctly instead of crashing the game
Sonic has more Sonic 1 sprites
The current state of You Can’t Run is available via Level Select
Fixed a few things in Hide and Seek
New setup screen (always shows up)
Gravity now has a multiplier that can be used to increase, decrease, or even flip gravitational pull of objects
New options menu to change characters, smooth rotation, trails, speed cap, etc.
BUG: Dying and having 0 lives now restarts the game without the game over music & text
