v4.5 of K&F VG 3 is finally out.

It took me a little more while since there are still tiny issues to patch up, but I managed to get 99.9% of those issues fixed.

I'll also list things of what I actually did for this new update.


Most Importantly- 🔥

  • 2 new stages. That's right. 2 new playable stages for this update. This includes new cutscenes and dialogues as well.

  • You can now save your progress through your GameJolt account or downloading a save file using a unique file extension, since this game is long enough.

  • You can now shoot while flying in air.

  • There's an easter egg I left for the boss in the first stage, but you must find it yourself, lol. Only accessible with one character only, too.

Fixes 🛠️

  • Some transition issues (character swapping) once you each at the end of the level.

  • Some menu changes.

  • Fixed a small issue where some puff or shot sprites move weirdly when you move vertically.

  • Flying in air mechanic is polished and is now more responsive.

I initially had it on v4, but I bumped it up to v4.5 instead because of how much new stuff is in it.

Here’s a 5 minute showcase of the final boss I have made so far. Took me about a couple of days to do all of the animation and code.

I just recently discovered MistWarp, which is a fork of TurboWarp that really has very good amount of additional options and customization.

UI changes is something I always wanted because I grew tired of Scratch's vanilla UI designs.
