Veneer is one of the villains of the game, he is a bear! In this image I showcase one of his powers-- He can punch the ground and change its composition. You fight him in a desert, so... he punches the ground so hard it solidifies and spikes up in waves, so he can attack from afar. Pretty scary! He can also punch the sand to turn it into glass. I was thinking it would be cool for him to punch the glass and send shards of it toward you...
The 3 gems on his design make this possible, they make him very strong. I can't reveal why just yet. But they're cool!
