Leftory Custom Night Version 0.7.0 is finally out, after over 3 months of development!

FULL CHANGELOG

New Features

  • Added three new roster characters in the new 4th row: Leftory's Favorite Sitcom Characters:

    • Knock on a vent opening three times to appease Sheldon Cooper when he appears in the office!

    • Quickly type "MICHAEL" with your keyboard when Jim Halpert pranks you, otherwise he will cover your entire screen indefinitely!

    • Keep an eye on Joey Tribbiani, who has become part of the TV Screen in your office, and click on him when he becomes surprised and screams!

  • Replaced Bulon with a brand new character, The Impostor:

    • It will try to kill Crewmates by venting around the building. Stare at him to prevent this! If he kills too many Crewmates, you too will die.

  • Added Items, a brand new menu in the Settings:

    • Collect Items by performing various tasks in the game! The Items are usually just visual achievements in the menu, although there is one exception, perhaps an extra character...

  • Added Endless Mode:

    • As the name implies, the night will never end! Instead, you will need to level up by gaining experience (by defeating characters or trading with Minecraft Villagers in Cam 4 and Wandering Traders! Very original...) Try to see how much you can level up!

  • Added a new Quit menu:

    • Instead of immediately closing the game if you click the "QUIT" button or press ESC, a warning will pop up asking if you're sure you want to close the game. Pretty handy! although it can be annoying when just testing stuff...

  • Added mugshots for the upcoming characters!

  • Added Skull Mode. You don't need to know what it does, or how you even access it in the first place... you really don't.

Balance (or just very significant) Changes

  • New max mode name! Goofy Thirty. Had to change it.

  • Reorganized the roster. Due to Bulon's removal:

    • Mr. Cookie is now in Leftory's Family, as "Leftory's Creation"

    • SuperS0ul is now in Leftory's Associates, and he is no longer Leftory's distant cousin.

    • The Impostor has been added to Leftory's Beloved!

  • Grandaddies now have an entirely different mechanic:

    • Instead of appearing in one camera and being stallable, they will now appear in the last camera you were on if you haven't used the monitor in a while!

  • Balty (Leftory's Cousin) will now let one of his body parts in if you fail to send him away instead of his full body. He will do this three times, with the third one completing the body and allowing him to start draining Sun.

  • The Chosen One now has a new Aggressive change: The Dark Lord! He will deploy three ViraBots, which are like The Chosen One's flames, but faster!

  • Shooter now has a new Aggressive change: instead of Turning Red, he will clone himself!

  • Swim's Manual Wind is now significantly faster, and Auto Wind now uses more Sun the longer it is kept on, to discourage leaving it on all night (Sheep strat.) Oh, and the tape now winds down faster too!

  • SuperS0ul now comes closer but also goes away faster, and he can now be sent all the way back by using RMB on him, though this will cost you 3 Sun!

  • Reworked how door stalling works:

    • It is now localized to the two individual doors. For example: if Zach is at the right door, he will no longer freeze other characters at the right door, but rather only ones at the left door. This should make the gameplay a bit smoother.

  • Added Visibility Accountability:

    • The more bullshit there is on screen at the same time, the more transparent it is! So you can hopefully see stuff better when a lot's going on.

  • Frontus (Leftory's Uncle) now plays a sound cue when he appears.

  • The power in Sheep's FNaF 1 recreation is now significantly tighter to prevent cheesing.

  • Frogger's Typer Shark is now 25% slower.

  • Spider-Man now goes away faster!

  • Ambience is now stalled longer by Zach.

  • Ambience now freezes Leftory & Springtrap for 5 seconds instead of 1.66.

  • Power outages caused by Ra Zombie now freeze door characters for 2 seconds.

  • Feeding Hungry Badeline now also gets rid of her.

  • The Audrey plushie now has a proper recharge animation, and its hitbox is now bigger. Also, the vent ink when Bendy appears now works differently.

  • Pressing SPACE no longer counts for the first few frames of Asgore's attacks. Also, Asgore's attacks are now FPS based, to 100% prevent lag deaths.

  • Dog Huh now has fading and flickering animations.

  • Tweaked the volume of Badeline, Shooter and GD Normal's sounds.

  • "We live, we love, we lie" is now quieter.

  • The Chosen One now has a new sound when burning your cursor instead of using the same one for deploying the flame.

  • You can no longer adjust the thermostat while using Bug Spray. This is technically a bug fix since it wasn't intended behavior, but it does affect the balancing.

  • Added a new sound cue for letting Shooter through.

  • There is now a special sound cue when a Sunflower dies, and when you try to plant a Sunflower but don't have enough Sun.

  • Usage bar can now display usage above 5.

  • Added click prevention to everything that didn't have it.

  • You can now go back to the Menu while starting a night, and can also quickly go back to the menu if you just press ESC right after a night begins.

  • Changed Nightfoxymilk's mugshot.

  • Hovering over an Aggressive character will now make their description red.

  • Random button now works when Hide Random is on.

  • Improved Nightmarty, Swim, Roingus, Zach, Theft King, Frogger, Asgore, SuperS0ul and Mr. Cookie's descriptions.

  • Minor changes to the Tutorial, and also just... in general?

Misc. Features, Changes and Bug Fixes

  • You can now click on stuff behind Badeline and Shooter when they're fading in or out (just out for Shooter since he doesn't fade in.)

  • Badeline can no longer spawn near the cursor (or, y'know, on it.)

  • Tweaked the Secret Character spawn times (by milliseconds, just to sync with the music properly)

  • Characters can no longer be activated in the Tutorial

  • Fixed Ambience spawning when he's supposed to be off!

  • Fixed the Unintended Sequence, for Real this Time...

  • Swim's Progress Bar now more accurately displays his progress

  • The Sun Ra Zombie steals no longer counts towards the "Sun Lost" in-game stat, since he gives it back when you get rid of him. Don't worry, the additional Sun that he steals on Aggressive that he doesn't give back does count towards the stat.

  • Cleaned up Shooter and vent explosion sprite

  • Moved Lechanic down

  • You can no longer click on the vent openings behind GD Normal

  • Timer will no longer go up to 5:01 if you get killed by a character at 5:00

  • Dog Huh and Frogger will no longer appear for a frame at the end of a night

  • Made Nightfoxymilk's jumpscare bigger

  • Frogger will no longer show an empty text box for a frame after typing the right word

  • Buy Bug Spray button now lights up again

  • Freddle laughter when they get in is now consistent with Sunflower Side volume

  • Fixed Dargon Fly jumpscare noise

  • Summer Sting is now quieter

  • Buying the YouTooz now ALWAYS plays the sound...

  • Deaths should load faster now

  • You can no longer click the "Erase Stats" button from the Main Menu

  • Hide Random "?" mugshots no longer appear outside of Standard Characters

  • Set All buttons will no longer light up outside of Standard Characters

  • Selection text is no longer bigger for a few frames when the menu fades in

  • PLAY/SETTINGS text no longer show up over the Trophy Flavor Text box

  • Added Discord Rich Presence for missing situations, and it now shows who you died to when you die on Grind Mode

  • Discord Rich Presence now displays the proper version

  • Fixed many more bugs!

  • Removed Virgil easter egg :(

  • There is now a rare chance that allows the Josh Hutcherson Whistle easter egg to be twice as common. Why? I literally have no idea. I don't know why I did this, nor do I have any memory of doing it.
