VERSION 1.0.0.2 || What you expected, but better!


Hello everyone, Squine Mode again.

I don’t have much to say about the game, you already know it, know the mechanics, and know certain details that would add to the next update, ie this, so, without further ado, I leave the list of updates in this new version! :

*R**EGEN (v1.0.0.2)*

  • Added a new Intro!

  • Added a “Quiter” or “Exit” System when you press “Escape”.

  • Added a Selector on the lobby, to select between “Upgrades” & “Highscores”. (Actually the Highscores are Unstable, so press the button just will exit to the lobby)

  • Added 5 New rooms!

  • The maximum room limit was increased to 50.

  • Added a new song to Rooms 40+.

  • Now, the second Swivel Saw enemy appears on the rooms 40+.

  • Still without saving system. (Sad)

Anyways, thanks everyone for the support!
In closing, I leave you a list of possible things that could come in the next version (December 20).

  • Online highscore table. [In develop]

  • Archivements & Trophies. [In develop]

  • Multiplayer versus.

  • Almost 10 new Rooms.

  • Boss or MiniBoss. [Probably not the next]

  • 255 Rooms Mode. [In develop]

This has been in the backlog since the first devbuild, but I finally fixed the depth issues with the ceiling decorations in the cavern scenes.

After some feedback about "floaty" player movement, I've iterated by adding some dynamic fall recoil and making jumps stop more responsively.

Very inspired by Momodora RotM and Hollow Knight

UPDATE IN COMING? Probably a new update called “DELUXE UPDATE” would come on September! In this update I add new challenges, new time attacks, new rooms, and a ROOM EDITOR! After this update, a new contest would appear with the room editor.

Last month I reworked and reordered all the settings and accessibility sections in the pause menu.

An error I made in the last builds was to add too much blur to a pixel art game (FOD filter, on-hit, foreground decorations, etc).

Those blurs are now optional in the settings.

Last month I added a small label to the save animation, and also changed the in-game cursor so it can be more visible now!

I also learned how to zoom videos in my clip editor.
