Week Two Summary


There's lots that has been added since last week. Busy week and day both project related, and not! So just a summary of it:

  • Player HUD

  • Main Menu

  • Placing Modules

  • Linking Power + Central Station to Modules

  • Calling Off a Mission (no score/penalty yet)

  • LEM 'climb' ladder

  • Temperature no longer counting on a specific number, but simply 'cold' or 'hot'.

Some more things too, but as I said... busy busy! Gotta send this out here just to keep on track. By next week I hope to have some footage to show off some of what I've worked on.

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

Animation test. Not an actaul conclusion to who wins sonic vs Mario. Just a test animation combo.
