I've been feeling trapped by my "signature" art style and obsessed with posting everything I draw. The moment I stopped, I noticed some improvement both in my actual art skill, and my attitude towards practicing. If I keep more things private, the pressure of feeling like some forced art influencer is lifted.
My main goal is to understand the 3D forms of the human body so that my skills won't hold back the expressiveness and poses of my characters.
My secondary goal is to expand my understanding of coloring and shading, since up until this point I've been drawing and coloring in an unrealistic style. Doing more painterly style artwork has made me feel so free, but it also made me realize how little I know about this artwork aspect. (As you can tell, I really focused on line art for a long time.)
I quite like expressing myself in this new style, and while you'll see my other one too, this one may appear more regularly in the future!
