I've made a lot of butterflies, but this design by Yukihiko Matsuno is so simple and elegant, I think it might be my current fave out of all of them.

I'm currently working on designing a floral motif for an art nouveau surface pattern challenge. This is what I have so far, but it's still very rough, as you can tell. Fun to make, though!
