Why I've been working on this game for 2 years...

Two years ago I got RPG Maker VX Ace on Steam. When I began to build this game (originally called “The Power Saga”) I had no idea what I was doing. After months of playing around with the program I finally figured out the ins and outs of the program, and thus was able to make better quality games than when I first started. After finally discovering how to improve my games, I looked back on this game (which at the time I considered to be finished), I realized how truly terrible the game was. It was extremely linear, the plot made no sense, the areas looked like no effort had been put into them, and the characters and dialog were very dry and uninteresting (not to mention the “moral” of the game which I won’t go into details about). I spent 2-3 months on this game, but after finally knowing what I was doing with RPG Maker VX Ace, I decided it was time to fix everything I had done wrong in the original game and make it a truly polished expirience. This is why I have almost 500 hours in RPG Maker VX Ace and why it has taken me almost two years to make this game. I’m in this for quality, not rushing the game and releasing a terrible game. Except for the other two games I’ve released on here. Those are both terrible.
Thanks for reading!
