Why is Fatal Delight taking so long to develop?

In my time of game developing (5 years) I've worked on other projects and only made 3. I am a type of person to have an idea and scrap it months later which I did with this game. Fatal Delight had 2 builds. In the early 2024 build I've had many scripts but later scrapped them.

2022 build (Old)

The 2022 build was a "phasmophobia" type point n click fnaf fangame where you had ghost equipment and you had to find the ghost and certain animatronics would be active. I was planning the ending to be nearly impossible to finish. I had a big team and barley anyone worked on it, I get some of them were busy but some of them I don't understand why work on a game if you're not interested in? I was also working on another big project "Condemned X" with many big developers but then I later canned it after controversy with other developers and myself and my fangame events (many other issues) then I focused on Fatal Delight and I focused my time on it since then.

2024 build (Current)

The 2024 build is what I have currently a story driven, free roam fnaf fangame that has a total playtime of 2 hours. Half of the game is finished and there is still a lot to code and build. I'm not going to say much of what is currently going on but you will love it all I will say is March is a big month for this game. Fatal Delight will never be canned as long as im working on it, it will release. Do not expect a release anytime soon though as I refuse to release a buggy mess, there currently is optimization issues and other small bugs. I'm taking them out while working.

I was asked a few times if a second Fatal Delight game is gonna happen. (Answer below)

Both the game and the TV show of The Last of Us have been praised for their depiction of Bill. In 2013, GLAAD described the game's Bill as being "as deeply flawed but wholly unique a gay character found in any storytelling medium this year."
