To start off, I'm going to talk about all that has happened this year. Honestly, for me, this was a really good year. I've improved a lot, and even managed to release my first ever, fully finished game.
Even when I wasn't working on games, I was just hanging out with some amazing friends that I never would have met were it not for this site. That would include but is not limited to @velvetThespooky , @Steamboat-Studios
, and especially @Benny-Drawkill
. If it weren't for Benny, I wouldn't have been able to accomplish half the things I have, and wouldn't have made nearly half of the inside jokes either. If you're reading this Benny, just know that I am extremely grateful to have as good a friend as you. Thank you.
Now, in terms of projects, I am putting a vast majority on hold for now because I'm mainly putting all my attention on One Cool Night with Jimmy 2. Now, I'm aware that not many people seem to care about One Cool Night with Jimmy, which I can understand because it does look very stupid, and it is, but I did genuinely put a lot of effort into making the first game, and I'm going to be putting even more effort into the second game because I just like it a lot. Not to advertise or anything, but all I'm saying is that if you haven't played One Cool Night with Jimmy, go and at least try it. That'd mean the world to a small developer like me, especially because that thing took like 2 months to develop.
Who knows, I've been thinking about possibly updating the first game to have some new content, but I'm not entirely sure. The whole joke of the game is that the presentation and idea is dumb and stupid in a funny way, but the actual execution isn't half bad and the gameplay isn't terrible either, and so I'm going to be trying to make the second game even better.
I don't think I have much more to say actually. Before I end this, I just want to say thank you to all my friends and followers who still support me. It means a lot to an early teen like me. Happy New Year - Supercat.
With the New Year approaching, I thought I should make a post as a kind of retrospective and update on my other projects. So, here I am.
