#GJAsks Do platform fighters count as fighting game sfor this question? If so, either Super Smash Bros Ultimate or Brawl (Brawl only because of nostalgia and Subspace Emissary). If they don't, then I guess YOMI Hustle because of its sick concept.

#GJAsks A lot of the single-player games I like also have multiplayer modes, and I don't know if those qualify. Of the ones that are exclusively single-player, I might have to say NieR: Automata or Deltarune. NieR just... hits, man.

Upgrade Items and Pickups have been given a toon shader and outlines.

Enemies poof and explode a little on death with a fancy new particle effect.

Healing makes a heart bubble particle appear.
