I'm having way too much fun designing Service Pack's hard mode.
It's not just "faster AI and slower recharge" or "fight this annoying start-of-night attack" over and over, I'm adding brand new content and changing up game rules.
QOL features are harder to design than actual gameplay stuff. Been working on configuration and settings in SP all summer. Mind you actually porting the main gameplay stuff from Clickteam only took 30 days.
I am putting hundreds of dollars and years of time into Service Pack all so people can quit the game halfway through night one after dying on night one because they muted the phone call.
