For what it's worth, I'm a post graduate in Computing and applied Mathematics... Only they don't run courses like that any-more, and haven't for decades. I've also had many jobs in computing, starting out as a technician and advancing through Networks Specialist to become a senior Unix systems administrator. Now I'm a lowly programmer again and I never want to look back... I'm just glad I've SED goodbye to AWK forever!

Now I write VB and C# .Net for a living, but ever since my teenage years writing public domain programs on the VIC-20 then the ATARI 800XL I've been interested in games programming, although I've heard too many horror stories to want to do it for a living.

Oh, and in case anyone was wondering 'GaryWare' was a nickname given to the various interfaces I had to write in one of my previous jobs in order to move data between various disparate systems that didn't like each-other very much.
