Lightning particles!
I was going to set up 2 sets so there was always a couple coming out the top and some from the bottom, but doing 5 random works well enough.
Also I have limited depth control of particles without making a new system for each

Mountain Hike by @RollForThings and art by me, has gotten over 500 downloads so far! Wow! It's a fun little game about hiking that you can fit in your pocket and take anywhere. Can be played with people or solo. Check it out below:

Goblin preview in the Town menu is all working now.

And I like it?

One slight issue is it doesn't draw shoreline, since that's not tiles.

Hmm, I'm liking having an approximation of the ground terrain below the NPC's in the menu.
I don't think I can really make it fully accurate though.

Like it's always gonna step as a full tile, not as pixels.

I can at least add the rest of the image data.

Added backgrounds to Portraits based on location!
Works for both the player and for NPC's!

Edit: Gif changed to new version with some bug fixes

Fixed a pretty ugly walk cycle.
