Posting some other DEAD DRIFT EXPERIMENT GIFS. You can see "enemy trucks" (the dark rectangle thingies roving around) AND big zombies (they have 10x the HP of a regular zombie!!)

Here's a fun little NES programming trick I was shown tonight.

The problem: how to hide sprites that pass over HUD at the bottom of the screen?

The HUD isn't actually on a separate layer or anything, so how can I get sprites to go behind it? 🧵
