They are a rare spawn, boss version in particular, and they always run away from you.
If you manage to defeat them in battle, before they run, you'll get some resource!
The Rogue of Nexus - Clash with The Hand
You can have several lives, but when you lose the last one... The Hand will try to catch you.
If you manage to win, you'll be safe... for now.
