DUSTTRUST '20

This take looks pretty great : D while dusttrust games have started getting completed pre leak generally hasn't yet and while DTX is a thing I still think its more so legacy thanatos V3 than a pre leak remake by this point. Also a recommendation for you guys make sure phase 4 is good set an example for others phases 1-3 may have not been completed fully back then but people were able to take their concepts and run with them, phase 4 on the other hand... not so much this was likely due to a variety of reasons such as no official gameplay(I also assume people weren't all on board for phase 4 but I wasn't there back in 2020 and the way back machine won't let me view the devlogs where phase 4 was shown off in so I don't know what people thought back then). But ultimately I think pre leak should be completed let people run wild there's tons of stuff you can do with dusttrust as a concept and many people have demonstrated that so if you guys preserve and lock in i'm sure you guys will do absolutely spectacular and amazing : ). I guess also a question what phase 4 design will you guys be using as a basis? If its the 2020 sprite like the others then hell yeah go for it : D I think phase 4 is over hated and deserves all the love in the world hope you guys can do it justice, I wish you guys good luck hope your having a great day : D.

Ok so I've thought more about this game.

In terms of visuals, dialog, and atmosphere, this game is great. I 100% agree with that.

But in terms of actual gameplay, it's just kinda...boring.

The fights are just ok. The highlight is definitely the 2nd phase of the act 3 fight.

The Snowdin Sans battle is just decent. The true lab fight is cool, but really short. Phase 1 of the act 3 fight drags on for too long. Phase 3 of the act 3 fight looks cool, but gameplay wise it's a mess.

The true lab section is tedious to play (as explained by gamejolter541 in his comment) and the whole fever dream section is honestly just boring to me.

Idk, I don't really get the hype for this game, personally. I get it's supposed to be more story focused, but the gameplay could have been a lot better.
