A game about Sonic trying to get Shadow to the good side again. In the process, Sonic gradually starts to lose his grasp on the Chaos Emeralds' power. He can go into a "Dream State" where most things don't make any sense, and that's how he relearns the ability to use the Chaos Emeralds.
