Given that my entire issue is you using my assets and existing game/story/characters, I would be absolutely okay with you continuing to develop the game, divorced from FFSP. All I ask is that you don't directly base it off of my works, and that you don't link to a copy of the original FFSP.
Hey, man. I don't feel that you should just take it upon yourself to remake a game that I made without my permission. This makes me very uncomfortable, and I wish you had asked before you did this. I don't approve of this in the slightest and I implore you to stop. If you truly value the game that I made, and me as a person, please don't do this.
