You play as Knuckles the Echidna, working the night shift atĀ Sonic's Hero Pizza PalaceĀ from 12AM to 6AM. Your goal is to survive against the clones, who mysteriously turn evil at night. During your time there, you receive valuable information from Luigi, the previous night guard, via pre-recorded phone messages. During the final phone call on your fourth night, Luigi gets jumpscared by one of the clones and seemingly disappears. Knuckles works up to a seventh night in the restaurant, where he finally gets fired for not watching the Master Emerald, and supposedly leaving an odor in the building.
Each night goes from 12 AM to 6AM, with the whole period during approximately 6 minutes. There are 2 doors on each side of your office, where characters likeĀ Clone Sonic,Ā Clone Mario,Ā Clone YoshiĀ andĀ Clone TailsĀ can try to enter on their way to your office. Each door has a light and door button, the former shining a light on the side to show if someone's there, and the latter blocking the listed characters from entering. Hovering the mouse over a bottom bar also opens up the camera monitor, inside which you can change between a variety of cameras to keep track of the clones' movements.Ā '15 Golden SonicĀ can also appear on the office if certain conditions are met, mostly a poster in the building being altered.
