Alright your good, I wish you a nice day!

This is actually great

And I'm impressed you went with Game Maker

With the recent update reminding me that I had this downloaded, I decided to revisit it and share some of my thoughts and experiences from what I've played (10/20 and 10/20 Phone all night beaten, a little bit of Ridiculousness and a 4AM on Silliestness), just to give some ideas for what I would like to see for 2.0.

The strongest aspect of this game is the base roster, most of these mechanics are pretty solid and play well, a personal favourite being Suicide Mouse, however I do feel like there are some weak links.

Disembodied is probably the weakest character in terms of design, being a Helpy-like that's very common in these type of mods and don't really add much to the gameplay loop, the idea of it getting stronger over time is something but it really doesn't come into play in base max mode since he appears rather infrequently, the mechanic is visually pretty ugly too. He also doesn't interact with any of the other cast members, on paper he may make Ace see you but it really doesn't work in practice. Probably the character most in need of a rework.

Face is just a very easy character and is just ignored for most of the night, this one could do with minor tweaks, maybe just buff his kill timer or have his Silliestness buff a part of his base kit.

Lastly, Phone Mickey, however funny his mechanic is, is a pretty low impact character, even if you let the phone hang it's very survivable, he could stay the same as is out of the others mentioned but he is pretty weak.

My personal favourite mode is 10/20 Phone All Night, 10/20 can feel a bit slow at times and this mode has just the right amount of speed, this mode is really good, maybe lower the volume of the phone but besides that its perfect for me, almost makes me wish that the characters were just this speed, but it could be restrictive to design around with the modifiers, speaking off.

I am less confident with the modifiers, Ridiculousness has some of my least favourite modifiers, with Disembodied, Face, PNM, Ace and Oswald all being rather stinky (so like half of them), Silliestness is slightly better overall, Silly Acephalous is actually pretty good mechanically but the changes are still pretty mid overall.

My main issue with both of these modifiers is that, in the context of a max mode, all of the buffs just don't play super well together, and this lack of much cohesion is what made me drop these modes (and also Ridiculousness is just really shit). If there is one thing I want to see with an update is an overhaul of the modifiers with cohesion in mind, like both Minnie changes could be in either mode but neither mode has a vision to were one mode having the other buff would benefit the gameplay of that specific mode, if each mode had a different gameplay style in mind then there could be more intent behind the buffs between the two modes, it would also make the modes feel more different rather than just being 10/20 but different.

Overall the game has a lot of promise and it has one really fun mode, however I don't have much interest in the modifiers in their current state to continue progressing, again hoping for an overhaul of the modifiers. Good luck on 2.0

Version: 1.2.02 days ago
My first completed Gamemaker game. Have fun!

Warning:

This game is not an official version of AcedRain's or AnArt1996's FNaTI.

This game does contain flashing lights, loud noises, and disturbing imagery. This game does require memory. You're warned.

Working on a 2.0:

Ello! After a long while of this game's existence, I decided I wanted to try again with this as I am not proud with how some of the things were executed in 1.0 and below. I now have a more in-depth knowledge of Gamemaker: Studio 2 and also more coding skills which will be more demonstrated in 2.0. I can't say if I am going to remove, keep, or change things (I am specifically talking about both Silly & Ridiculous mode), but 2.0 will aim to be have better movement, better gameplay flow, and better game design. As far as I playtested 2.0, 2.0 will likely to be more fast-paced than 1.0. I am not guaranteeing anything, even the stuff I already stated, but my goal is to do my best to aim it to be more fun than 1.0 instead of trying to be unreasonable difficult! Thank you for reading, I wish you a forever nice day ;]

Check out the original & their remastered counterpart! Both of the them are extremely amazing!:

Hey y'all. I hate to do this, but I haven't been feeling great this week, I am delaying the v1.2.0 update. No clear idea for how long, but do know it is almost done. I am gonna try to add delta-timing to the game. I wish y'all a great week!

Hello y'all! Wanted to let y'all know I am working on a 2.0, but there is also an v1.2.0 update coming too, to leave 1.0 in a better state while I work on 2.0. Not gonna try to reveal a lot, but here's what to expect for v1.2.0
