This is my first game ever. I have no experience besides a couple of Roblox games. I am going to learn Unreal Engine so that I can make this game. I wanted to make this page so I can advertise the idea. I had this idea for a while, and I want to make it into a game.
ATTENTION SOLDIER!
Welcome to 1914, where an assassination started one of the deadliest wars in all of history. You are a randomly generated character, with a randomly generated backstory, family, friends, and many more. You are now a soldier for a country of your choice. Battle through trenches, make friends with other soldiers, and experience the absolute mental warfare that a normal soldier had to go through.
GAMEPLAY
As mentioned before, you will be a randomly generated character, with a deep backstory, and complex relationships. You will be cast into the war when it started. You will have some downtime before a battle starts. In this downtime you can relax, make friends, or take care of your needs. Your needs are hunger, thirst, rest, health, and sanity. Your hunger, thirst, and rest will deplete naturally. You can eat to refill hunger, drink to refill thirst, and sleep to refill rest. Your health will deplete when you get an injury. The game will have a very in depth health system, with different tourniquets and bandages specific for your body part in need. Sanity will deplete naturally as the war goes on, or a friend dies brutally in front of you, and so on. In battles, it will either be a defending battle, or an attacking battle. If you are attacking, you throw yourself through No Man's Land and attack the opposing team's trench. If you are defending, you wreak havoc on the other team until they can't attack anymore. If you die during one of these battles, a new randomly generated character will be made and will be shipped back. After a battle, if you survive, you will need to pick up bodies from the trenches, as well as dog tags. After 10 battles, the war will be over, and you will be able to get home.
