This is my submission to the Open-source Game Jam (Moop, #1)! I made a simple kinda metroidvania thing in two weeks!
It's more like a prototype than a full game since I ran out of time :v

Controls:
A - LEFT
D - RIGHT
SPACE or RMB - JUMP
LMB or J - ATTACK

1 - DISABLE ALL EFFECTS
2 - ENABLE ALL EFFECTS

Open source tools I used: GDevelop, Blender and Krita!

Known issues: The game runs kinda wonky on lower specs PCs, if the framerate drops under 30 FPS collision detection fails and the player can go thru the floor! If you encounter this issue please disable all effects while playing!

learned a bunch of stuff, like better back face culling for the black outlines and a way to have the hairs shown correctly in the gltf file :o need some more animations and then programming in gdevelop! made a little cutscene that I like a lot too XD

design to 3D wip (no armature still, so it's not posing) hair looks great in this angle but it doesn't look that good from the side! Tried making it chunkier too but it doesn't looks as menacing as I need I'll keep workin on it

today's progress, need to make the rest of the texture to look beat up as much as the orange parts :o container looks way too clean

hover cargo machine model, it will drop the first boss on stage, not sure if I should keep using this texture for all machines tho I might update it later

done lots of stuff on g.o.e., need to make another minidevlog soon, read article for more
