Insanity 2 was supposed to be an official sequel of original Insanity video game, but was cancelled due to unknown reasons.
Mechanics
"So, there you are. In a room with 3 computer monitors, linked to a security system. The building has three different parts that all run on a different generator. If the only antagonist that roams trough the facility gets into one of the office entries, you need to shut down one of the generators. The sudden electrical sound that makes is going to scare the animatronic and make him wander off. Though, this comes with a cost. As long as the generator is down, its respective part of the building is going to be completely out of light, rendering the cameras there useless. Sounds easy, right? Well, kinda. But there is a lot of things I didn’t reveal yet. There is a big twist to the animatronic’s… behavior. I’m not going to reveal it, but lets just say that it keeps the game interesting over all nights. Also, yes, the generators do reboot. How fast depends on the AI of the animatronic. Faster AI, faster reboot. Keeps the game fair. Also, yes. The Tophat is back too. I’m not gonna reveal what or who the animatronic is. I don’t wanna ruin the surprise. But let’s just say, you’ve already seen him… two times. You just don’t understand yet." -Blackout
