One day you were riding your e-bike, but you got into a fatal e-bike crash, the last thing you saw were two-cute cats before you face planted into them. And now you are in a nightmare coma with them terrorizing you.

Ivy's Family Diner rather than being tied to the mainline Welcome to Khloe's Pizza Palace timeline, it is actually an un-canon spin-off centered around the two most un-focused on characters in the original game, Ivy the Cat and Onyx the Cat. Both originally appearing as the penultimate on night 5 in WTKPP, they served the purpose of new threats, ultimately being in the shadows of bigger stars such as Khloe the Dog and Bat the Cat. However, Ivy's Family Diner features them as the two main characters, now in Khloe and Bats place hunting you down in your nightmarish coma.

You could theoretically make Ivy's Family Diner canon, at least for your headcanon. It would have to be WTKPP > IFD in that order. Once again, Ivy's Family Diner is not canon to the mainline WTKPP storyline.
