Long after arrival at the New World, and after humans had learned most about it, they began trying new ways to live and thrive in the New World. After humans became the "Apex Predators" again, certain monsters just kept getting stronger, learning their weapons and strategies. Humans shortly began to lose their place at the top of the food chain. So humans started fighting fire with fire. They can now tame certain monsters to fight beside them. After The First TTF (Tame Train Fight) Division came back from a seemingly suicide mission unharmed. The TTF became an immediate success. The entire new world society is built on befriending monsters. Some even have jobs!. But their peaceful pact will soon face a terrible end, for a mysterious monster lurks. It is thought to have the mysterious ability... to control monsters.

You and your team were out hunting an invasive wyvern when the monster attacked your village. Some people went missing, and so did some monsters. You and your team have to hunt it down and find the rest of your people.

Monster Hunter Legends takes you on a Pokemon-style adventure, teaming with monsters, and annihilating others. Embark the story your way making your own choices.
