This is a very intriguing little glimpse into what certainly could be a really good game!
It's got a great retro vibe to it, a creepy atmosphere and many lingering mysteries! Having the notes lying around could be a great way of advancing the plot and explaining exactly what happened, big fan of that idea.
A side-scrolling, horror platformer done in this style would definitely reel me in, so I'll be keeping an eye out for updates on this project! Keep up the good work =)
