What do you think?

why is this so comically underrated

yooo this looks incrediable - very nice art, a promising story and a very unique and interesting idea when it comes to the battle system!) all the battle sprites, environment and the general art direction of the game looks fantastic - i especially liked the design of the main cast of characters) the metroidvania-lite exploration is not unheard of in the realm of rpg's, but is still pretty cool - especially if done nicely (like the interconnected areas in the first Dark Souls). overall, i'm going to look forward to the game's release!) until that, i wish you guys at GHOSTCOASTGAMES best of luck and nerves of steel while developing the game!) take care!

hey need a beta tester i test it

cant wait for this to come out and played

Hi! This is so underrated and I really want to help in the project! I'm a Illustrator and I wanted to know if I can help with my Free work doing UI, Characters, Enemys, anything really. Dm me if you are interested :0

No Body is a story driven RPG set (sort of) in the present day.

Four LGBT+ teens find themselves trapped in a bizarre and dangerous reality, and must escape in this story heavy, turn based heartfelt RPG!

Will you be able to survive the physical and psychological trials The Well throws at you? Can you uncover the secrets behind an elusive corporation,  shady government and weird cult?

Inspired by UNDERTALE, and Silent Hill, play as "Clownface" and friends as they try to navigate The Well, a bizarre and surreal reality that they find themselves trapped in...

Story and character driven narrative!

Quirky, funny, and horrifying characters!

Deep lore and mysteries to solve! Easter eggs!

The story deals with heavy themes, but is equally offset by humorous dialogue, quirky characters, and a boatload of mystery and lore hidden deep inside (and maybe even outside) of the game. Take nothing for granted! There are secrets afoot! Even the little Easter eggs dotted throughout the game have story related reasons to exist!

Openly LGBT+ Main Characters! (And cast + dev crew!)

In No Body, the main party are all part of the LGBT+ community, and a couple of the side characters you meet also are. Of course, there's heterosexuals too, but they're not the main focus. There's also a story-related reason why so many characters you meet are LGBT+.

Every choice matters + three different endings!

Onto the meat and potatoes! Every choice you make in the game, whether major or minor, will influence the game in some way. Some in more obvious ways than others... Different paths and locations may or may not be available. Even your character will change to reflect their choices. Throughout your adventure in The Well, your decisions will be logged, affecting the ending of the game.

Hand drawn art!

A huge part of any game is the art direction. Personally, I love the direction we've gone in. All the art (including pixel art) is hand drawn either by me or Sam. Sam handles the character dialogue art and scenes, I draw the environments and assets such as items, enemies, sprites, etc. I also use some other, real-world techniques to achieve certain looks or textures I require.

"Turn based meets investigation" battle system!

Side quests! Loot! Examine (almost) everything!

"Metroidvania-Lite" exploration!

Picture this: a turn-based combat system full of strategy and puzzle-solving! Well, you no longer have to picture it! (Okay, maybe a little...) because this is what No Body is striving to achieve.

-Use your 5 senses (sight, sound, smell, taste and touch) to interact with foes and discover weaknesses!
- Exploit weaknesses! Buff yourself and debuff enemies!
- Optimise equipment to compliment your strategy and playstyle!
- Make use of the many states to destroy foes!

As No Body is an RPG, there is of course an abundance of loot to find (including secret ultimate weapons), side quests, branching paths, hidden dungeons, and secret bosses to find! Some bosses require you to investigate them first - meaning you must piece together bits of information to track them down, summon them, and destroy them.

Almost all items will allow you to 'examine' them, uncovering more lore, and potentially finding new uses for items. And speaking of items - certain key items will allow you to traverse previously unreachable areas. Perhaps in the previous area you saw a suspicious crack in the ground - and you now have a shovel. What could you dig up? Or was there a ledge just out of reach? Use tools to access new and hidden areas!

Now it's over to you!
