Helloooooo there!
So I'll be talking about the game
(check the posts below for more details)
Ahem, Ahem…
So…
The Intro
Long ago, two races ruled over THIS world:
HUMANS and MONSTERS
(and other soul-less creatures, of course)
They lived in peace together, until…
New beings appeared. Beings unlike anything seen before.
They were faster and stronger than the average Humans and Monsters. Complete mindless savages that did not show mercy to any sign of life.
We called them Wraithkins.
Humans and Monsters joined forces in order to defeat the Wraithkins.
But then… betrayal.
Humans discovered that the source from which Wraithkins hailed from is located in the Monsters' realm.
Palek the fifth, King of humans, called upon his greatest mages to banish the monsters into their own realm so that only a human's soul can travel between realms…and so they did.
They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell…
Until… Year 736.

PHENOMENALTALE: WHERE DESIGNED CHAOS MEETS CONTROLLED MADNESS
(Or: “What Happens When You Let the Fandom Cook”)
CHARACTER DESIGN: THE RULES? THERE ARE NONE.
In #Underswap, everyone’s swapped. In #Underfell, everyone’s edgy. Here? Imagine a universe where the characters raided a #multiverse thrift store and refused to coordinate.
(What I'm trying to say is that I didn't really take care about a unique design like other Undertale fan games, so do not get confused.)
So does this mean that there are no themes? Nah, it's all themes
I tried so hard to fill the game's world with a version of every character from the community (#Underverse)
One character might look ripped from my classmate angst. Another’s dripping with anime whimsy. The next? Straight-up scrolling 4Chan's result. It’s a scrapbook of every AU, joke, and any late-night #deviantArt sketch that ever haunted the #Undertale tag.
Example: Sans might wear an over-sized hoodie today, a lab coat tomorrow, and a Hawaiian shirt on Sundays. Why? Because he’s #PHENOMENAL, that’s why.
Lore? More Like Floor.
You should be having an idea based on the intro, but here's a little something:
These characters aren’t just designs—they’re walking spoilers. Talk to them. Poke them. Accidentally insult their fashion sense. Their looks hint at their stories, secrets, and whether they’ll help you or yeet you into the nearest pit of #doom.
One Ending. Infinite Paths:
The finale’s set in stone… but how will you get there? That’s your circus. Lie, cheat, cry, or crack dad jokes—your choices rewrite the journey, not the destination.
(Pro tip: Some NPCs remember everything. Good luck.)Â Â
Two Souls, One Adventure:
Play as #Frisk or #Chara—same world, wildly different vibes. Yes everything is happening at the same time, but it's different on each side. Either way, secrets (and trauma) await.
Open World? Yes, but not empty! :
Main quests? Sure. Side quests? Obviously. But the real story’s in the library bookshelves, the NPCs’ passive-aggressive gossip, and that one weird rock you’ll stare at for 20 minutes. Oh, and your phone. It does… things. We’ll talk about it later (Again, check the posts below).
WHY THIS WORKS
(OR: “THE DEV’S NOTES SCRIBBLED IN BLOOD”)
It’s a Love Letter… With Footnotes. Every reference, meme, and AU cameo is a puzzle piece. Find them all, and maybe the world starts making sense.
(Spoiler: It won’t.)
GAMEPLAY: THE MANUAL I NEVER WROTE (YOU’RE WELCOME)
It’s an RPG… but also a visual novel… but also a psychological experiment. Don’t overthink it.
- Me
The gameplay has been inspired by many games such as #Deltarune, #Omori, The #Mother series (AKA #EarthBound), #Touhou_Project, the game Undertale, and it's fan games, and almost every game in the #Shin_Megami_Tensei franchise
I literally made a list of 140 games that somehow did inspire me, and the list is growing day by day...
Also, don't stand there expecting me to not add anything original or back-off on giving the classic gameplay my personal touch.
As mentioned before, the game is #Open_World, which means story quests, simple tasks, special events, Easter eggs, mini-games and many other things are included.
Replayability? Try Reliveability:
That NPC you ignored? They’re the secret final boss. That rock you kicked? Congrats, you just unlocked the “Rock Trauma” subplot.
What to expect from the gameplay? Glad that you asked:
The Chara/Frisk Split:
Two Games, One DisasterFrisk’s World:
Pacifist? Neutral? Chaotic good? Your call. NPCs react to your status, your choices, and how many times you’ve awkwardly hugged them. Unlock cozy side quests, cryptic library lore, and a suspiciously friendly knight… for now.
Gameplay Twist:
The world wants to trust you. Use it. Manipulate friendships, solve puzzles with kindness, or just… steal
everyone’s socks.//IT'S YOUR WORLD AFTER ALL, THEY'RE JUST LIVING IN IT =)
Chara’s World:
No dark humor, but there are some fourth-wall jabs. Combat systems that reward creative cruelty. Ever negotiate with a monster by threatening to delete their save file? Now’s your chance!
Gameplay Twist:
The world fears you. NPCs lie, traps double, and that “friendly” shopkeeper scalping health items? There's none,//(YOU WILL NEED TO DRINK THEIR BLOOD. q(≧▽≦q))
Survival Mode: Because Existing is Hard
Fear(Mood)/Hunger/Thirst/Sleep:
Ignore them, and THEY start roasting you.
Forget monsters—your biggest foe is your own poor life choices.
(But hey, at least the vending machines accept existential dread as currency.)Â Â
Weather Matters:
Don't go under the rain, you fool! Get wet and you'll catch cold! And heatwaves? Hope you packed sunscreen (spoiler 2: youdidn’tcouldn't).Combat: Bullet Hell Meets Therapy Session
Dodge or Dialogue:
Frisk: Pacify enemies with bad puns, gift them moldy spaghetti, or just vibe until they question their life choices.
Chara: Taunt them into rage-quitting, exploit elemental weaknesses, or hack the battle UI to skip the fight entirely.
(Cheat? Nah. It’s efficiency.)
Fighting? Let’s Call It Creative Problem-Solving: Undertale’s core mechanics and flair is there. Also combine my sauce, some more emotional damage, and a sprinkle of existential crises and there you have it!
Dodge bullets, negotiate with sentient staplers, or just… give up. It’s valid.
Boss Fights: Each one’s a genre shift. One minute it’s a rhythm game, the next it’s a visual novel where your dialogue options are all terrible. The Phone: Your Pocket-Sized Apocalypse
Apps Include:
“Undernet”: Meme-filled forums where NPCs argue about you.
“Map App”: Lies 40% of the time. Enjoy getting lost!
(JK it works)
“Monstegram”: Instagram, but better!
(WARNING: brainrot included)World That Breathes (Mostly)Â
Day shifts to night. Rain ruins picnics. NPCs live their best (or worst) lives whether you’re watching or not. They move and talk to each other. Crash their parties, steal their routines, or just vibe as a background extra.
(Disclaimer: If you’re here for skeleton romance or dog-petting simulators… uh… maybe check the trash can behind Grillby’s?)
THE FINE PRINT
(AKA “WHY IS THIS GAME LIKE THIS?”)Â
Graphics: Looks like Undertale… if Undertale stayed up all night binge-watching anime.Â
Soundtrack: 70% remixes, 30% original bangers, 100% guaranteed to live in your head rent-free.
Easter Eggs: Yes. All of them. Even the ones we forgot about. Â
Dogs: Still good boys. Still unpettable.
(Blame the cats. They’re in charge now.) Â
FINAL WARNING:This game is a sentient meme factory. Play it like a completionist, and you’ll need therapy. Play it like a gremlin, and you’ll become the therapy.
DEVELOPMENT DIARY (OR: “I PROMISE THIS ISN’T A SCAM”)
Started in 2020. Took a loooong nap. Woke up. Now aiming for a July 2025 “mostly functional” release. Until then? Concept art. Screenshots. The occasional existential tweet.
QUESTIONS? COMMENTS? DEATH THREATS?
Slide into the comments. I’ll be there… lurking… waiting… probably studying for Konkour.
(Special shoutout to @SepehrBigman for beta-testing my sanity. And to YOU for reading this far. Go drink water.)Â
”You’re filled with PHENOMENALITY.”
