Text Engine V2
Overworld V2

What is this: Undertale Project Talemaker is an upcoming multi-engine that will consist of: Text Engine, OverWorld Engine, and Battle Engine. Undertale: Project Talemaker is a multi-engine project that allows you to enhance your game/fangame/prototype. You can choose to use one of the three engines, or all three at once. Despite this being an upcoming multi-engine, you can already use some of these (older) engines.

Text Engine V.2
โค Undertale Text Engine V.2 is the current version. It will be replaced by Version 3 in the near future (like in a week). The engine offers many features to enhance the game. From text effects to the compiler.
The engine is fairly easy to use once you memorize all of the character codes. You can make cool effects like this:

โค Compiler is a major feature for this version. It allows you to create text from any sprite at any given time. This means you do not need to rely on broadcast events.
โโ
โค Color codes: 10 color codes!

โโ
โค Text effects: 9 effect codes!

โโโ
โค Bubble Speeches: 6 bubble speeches!

โโโ
โค Option menus: Stackable, & UI support!

โ
โค Portraits: Create animated portraits with option menu texts!

โค Some of the other control features:
โโโ
โฑ Size control: Control the text's sizeโโโโโ
โฑ Typing speed: Control how fast the text gets printed out
โฑ Multi-text: (as demonstrated by the above gifs, you can have multiple texts at once)
โฑ Text IDs & Face outputs: Control text's input/outputs midway (for face battles)
โฑ And more:

Overworld Engine V.2
โค Overworld Engine V.2 is the current version of the engine. This version too awaits its successor, version 3. Although this engine is less popular than Text-Engine due to its complexity, it's not that complicated to use, but can be a burden.
โ
โค Version 2 allows you to build, animate, and add rooms. This was designed for much simpler tasks, like a mini intro or a short Overworld sequence.โ

โโ
โค Waypoints: Version two introduces waypoints, a system that allows you to visually add various points across the map. These trigger points can cause certain actions to occur: room transition, trigger event, and mirror effect.

โ
โค Current status: Since Overworld V3 is already confirmed and in development, there is very little use for Version 2 other than making a simple sequence. You can still try to use it, but I am not going to act like Overworld V3 is right around the corner; Version 3 still needs a lot of testing.

โBattle Engine Status:
Unlike the Text and Overworld engines, the Battle engine has no current public versions. Yes, very sad; my aim for these engines to be user-friendly while not compromising the need for coding. That isn't to say no progress was made; a lot of testing and experimental games were made. One of them was the Mettaton EX battle. So this engine will be the last one to be released. I am also very, very open to any ideas & suggestions.

Where can I use it? This project is designed for Scratch & Turbowarp. The idea is to help newly starting Undertale creators use a powerful engine with ease. These engines will save you from the burden, but you'll still need to code certain things. This is why Scratch is a perfect pick, a very beginner-friendly coding site!โ
I also want to thank everyone for using these engines; I counted up to 150+ projects using them, so a huge thanks!!
โค Got an idea or suggestion, or dare I say, a question? Feel free to ask!
