This demo is very cool! I enjoyed it quite a bit. That being said, i did notice some oddities.
The casino runs at a slower frame rate than the rest of the demo. Everywhere else runs at max performance. The game's audio isn't as consistent as it could be. For example, the death jingle is considerably quieter than the level music. The tree zone boss flies out of bounds after the second hit, making the boss impossible to beat. In the same level, the super star disappears as soon as it leaves the block. Lastly, the carrot plays a bit differently than the original game. In the original, mario's fall speed with the carrot changes based on how quickly you tap the jump button in the air.
Don't let this report discourage you! This fangame already has quite a bit of content to offer, and has the potential to be excellent!
is there a way to reset your game so you can rebind the controls or no?
Will this game be compatible with controllers if played on a computer with built-in controls?
Will you add a proper controller/key configuration screen at any point?
