This game is really cool! Graphics are really well made, the soundtrack is also beautiful to listen to, and the story so far seems really interesting
I haven't 100%ed the game yet, but i did beat the first two bosses and got to the 3rd world with 2 "Bonus Stages" complete

(Yes, i have "More checkpoints" on because i kinda suck :P)
Overall, i really am enjoying it so far! I'll update this comment as i go along the story here
Good game!

Disregard the music section saying there's only 7 tracks, that's just a sample :3

Slice Night 3 is a graceful yet challenging melee platformer about the beauty of dreams and processing of repressed emotion;
a power fantasy with some truth sprinkled in.
A dramatization of the real events that occur in the main character - Billy/Miley Dreamwalker's - actual life.
The main character is canonically genderfluid.
It's referred to as a dream, but really it is more like a loose metaphor. (Don’t think about it too hard.)
The main premise of the game starts when the protagonist wakes up on The Slicer of the 7 Dreams, a vessel where lost dreamers sail in search of their own direction, to contemplate. Presumably, they have been here before. They meet some masked figure attempting to stop their progress and the story goes from there.
The game's levels are designed sort of like a song, where mechanics get introduced and developed in their first level, but then they don't get twisted or iterated until a later level, as if its all a motif.
You gain significantly more speed from down slicing or wall jumping than you do from running, you also automatically cling to a wall if you wall jump once, so you could play the game at a typical pace or you could speed through it way faster than intended (but, it kind of is intended). There's also a skill-based critical/supercritical hit system based on the timing and speed you perform attacks.
The story is mostly conveyed via HD comic strip cutscenes, with flavor text given by NPC characters.
The game has nearly 80 full stages, including bosses across 12 main worlds with 2 secret worlds.
