"Welcome to Treasure Island!" ...is what you would have heard while the Island was opened and not, well, decaying. Disney have said that the Island closed due to maintenance costs and poor attendance, but locals have suggested that the island closed for, different reasons. After the disappearance of an employee, they Sent you to finish his job and hopefully find him, but it becomes very clear that the Island wasn't fully Abandoned by Disney.

Treasure Island 2019 is a complete reboot of the original Five Nights at Treasure Island, completing what Anart1996 started with a whole new story included. This game will have futures both old and new, along with a new story.
